Pyramid of Light Mystery School are planning a very special trip to Egypt for 2025!

We plan to include special rare and private visits to iconic landmarks including the Sphinx, Dendera Temple (Hathor), Philae Temple (Isis) and a private visit to the Great Pyramid.

During our four private visits to the Sphinx, Dendera Temple (Hathor), Philae Temple (Isis) and the Great Pyramid we will be offering 4 powerful activations, culminating in an initiation inside the Great Pyramid itself!

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival Cairo “Ahlan Wa Sahlan”

Arrival at Cairo International Airport; Promo Tours representative will meet and assist you through customs, transfer by tourist vehicle to your luxury hotel. Check in Hotel.

Day 2

Old Cairo/Refai Mosque /Sultan Hassan

After breakfast, we visit Old Cairo - that is also known as Christian Coptic Cairo. Old Cairo is one of the most important locations visited by the Holy Family, where they took shelter for brief time during their trip in Egypt. Visit the Church of Abu-Sergah and the hanging church. From here, proceed to an interesting tour in Islamic Cairo. The grand Al-Rifai Mosque, built between 1869 and 1912, has a towering minaret and four decorated facades capped with an ornate dome. One of Cairo’s largest mosques, featuring Ottoman-style architecture, it houses the tombs of many members of the Egyptian royal family, including King Farouk. Facing Rifai Mosque, Sultan Hassan Mosque has a unique structure ,vast central courtyard , ornate sculptures, marble flooring, elaborate arches, and exquisite ceiling decorations. It functioned as a hub for Islamic education (Madrasa = school). With room for up to 1,000 students, the Madrasa also provided housing options for its pupils. Lunch at a lovely typical Egyptian restaurant where we will sample a traditional Egyptian dish. Back to Hotel.

Day 3

Saqqara / Dahshour / Carpet School

After breakfast – Visit Saqqara to view the Old Kingdom pyramids. It was about 2630 B.C , when Imhoteb , architect of King Djoser, masterminded the Step Pyramid at Saqqara. A great chance to see the daily life scenes of ancient Egyptians, drawn inside the Noble Tombs (4000 years ago), and well preserved till now. Lunch in an open air restaurant. Then proceed to Dahshur – which is the southernmost region of the Memphis necropolis and contains several hierarchical groups and monuments. It has been a necropolis since the fourth dynasty, in which King Senefru built two of his three pyramids, namely the Red Pyramid, which was the first complete pyramid in Egypt, and the Bent Pyramid which got its name for being slightly bent in the middle due to a mistake in the construction. After the visit, pass by the carpet school/shop.

Day 4

Private Visit Sphinx

We visit the Sphinx Enclosure in the early morning just as the sun is rising. This visit is a private one and we spend some quiet time absorbing the experience. Back to Mena House Hotel for breakfast.

Giza Plataeu: This afternoon, explore with your Egyptologist guide the three Great Pyramids of Giza, Khufu (Cheops), Khafre (Chephren), and Menkaure (Mycerinus), along with some of their accompanying temple complexes. During the day, visit the center of Essential Oil.

Day 5

Flight from Cairo to Luxor

This morning we take our short flight to Luxor. Transfer to Sonesta St. George - Luxor. Dinner in the hotel.

Day 6

Hatchepsut Temple/ Valley of the Kings / Deir el Medina or Habu Temple / Alabaster shop

fter breakfast visit the West Bank of the River Nile – “Deir El Bahari funerary temple – Hatchepsut Temple”. One of the greatest Egyptian architectural achievements. Designed by Senenmut (Hatchepsut’s architect). Dedicated to the female Pharaoh – the temple looks amazing as it is carved inside the cliffs of Deir ElBahary. After that we visit The Valley of the Kings. Considered as the Royal Cemetery with 64 tombs, and of course placed on the West Bank , as ancient Egyptians tombs are mostly on the West of the Nile through out Egypt. The tombs of the pharaohs are inscribed with sacred transformative texts , including “the book of the underworld”. Then, we visit the non – royals village (village of the workers); Deir El Madina or Habu Temple. We will visit Alabaster shop. Lunch during the visits. Dinner in the hotel.

Day 7

Karnak Temple / Luxor Temple

After breakfast, we visit Karnak Temple. Karnak Temple complex is one of the largest in the world. See the lioness goddess Sekhmet statue, standing there for more than 3500 years. Then visit Luxor Temple. Experience the avenue of the sphinxes as you approach the majesty of Luxor Temple. Located in Thebes – East Bank of the Nile – the temple is dedicated to “Amon-Ra”. King Ramses the second built an amazing entrance “Pylon”, which was exclusive for the pharaohs and the priests. Lunch during the visits. Dinner in the hotel.

Day 8

Dendera Private Visit

After Breakfast, check out. Then transfer to Dahabeya, to enjoy the next phase of the trip – on your relaxing and luxurious Dahabeya. After lunch, travel by bus to visit Dendera Temple (private visit). The Dendera Temple complex covers an area of 40,000 square meters, surrounded by a large mudbrick wall. Within this enclosure are various structures, including the temple of the Birth of Isis, a roman mammisi , a sanatorium, and a sacred lake. The most impressive part of the Temple complex is the Temple of Hathor. The temple was constructed during the late Ptolemaic period. Later additions were made during the Roman period. Although built by a dynasty of rulers who were not native Egyptians themselves, the design of this temple is considered to be in accordance to that of other classical Egyptian Temples. Luxor Museum

Enjoy your day! Relax time, and an interesting visit to Luxor Museum.

Day 10

Esna - Storytelling - Relaxing

Today we have a full day on our private Dahabeya with storytelling and relaxing time on the Nile River. We will sail the whole day to Esna. Sailing on the Dahabeya is one of the joys of this journey. Cross Esna–lock. Sail South. Overnight on the boat moored to an island. The Nubian crew throws out a large rope and stakes it to the ground. You experience the life of the Nile …

Day 11

Edfu Temple

Breakfast on board, today we will enjoy our visit of “Horus” or known as “The Temple of Falcon” - Edfu Temple. Consists of traditional elements of Egyptian temples of the New Kingdom, together with a few Greek elements, such as Mamisi , which is situated to the west of the main entrance of the Temple (Mamisi means “house of the divine birth”). It consists of the story of the divine birth of Horus the child. Continue sailing to Kom Ombo. Enjoy the spectacular views, and relax on the sundeck to soak up the golden rays of the sun shining all over.

Day 12

Sail to Kom Ombo

Time for meeting / circle or meditation. Enjoy sailing all day, arrive Kom Ombo at night. Possibility to visit village / island.

Day 13

Visit Kom Ombo & Sail to Aswan

Breakfast on board, we will visit Kom Ombo Temple, known as “Temple of “Sobek”. The history of KomOmbo stretches back to the time of the Pharaohs, when it served as a garrison town close to the southern border of Egypt. The town was known originally as Nubt. During the Ptolemaic and Roman periods, the town retained its function, though its name was changed. The Greeks renamed the town as Omboi, while the Romans referred to it as Ambo. Kom Ombo is most famous for its magnificent temple which is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek. Dinner on board. Overnight on board Dahabeya.

Day 14

Private Visit Philae Temple

Pick your Packed Breakfast Box, today we will enjoy our visit “Philae Temple” or as known “The Temple Goddess Isis”, it was mainly built to honor the goddess Isis, this was the last temple built in the classical Egyptian style. Construction began around 690BC, and it was one of the last outposts where the goddess was worshipped. And considered the main Goddess for fluid of the Nile yearly, enjoy the mysterious tale of Isis and Osiris, after our private visit we will go back to the boat. Aswan Market at night and enjoy the last day on board.

Day 15

Flight to Cairo

Disembarkation after breakfast. Transfer to Aswan airport to fly to Cairo. Check in Four Seasons Resident Hotel or similar.

Day 16

Visit the Grand Egyptian Museum and Khan El Khalily

After breakfast we visit “The Grand Egyptian Museum” (GEM) holding the world’s most extensive collection of pharaonic antiquities. The museum houses a huge number of objects covering 7,000 years of Egypt’s past. Planed to be opened at the end of 2023, (GEM) is set to become the world's largest archaeological museum . After enjoying the Egyptian Museum, visit Khan El Khalily market. Enjoy the atmosphere in the most famous market in Cairo. Egyptian typical dishes will be served for lunch.

Day 17

Great Pyramid private visit

How wonderful to end the trip with a private visit to the Great Pyramid. Considered to be the only remaining wonder of the Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramid complex stands on the Giza plateau and rises from the desert as a symbol of strength, inspiration, history & loads of mystery. In the evening – enjoy a memorable farewell dinner.

Day 18

Final Departure

Breakfast at Hotel. Checkout, transfer to Cairo Airport for final departure.
